It's been a week since the announcement of the release date for A World Without War: Unwanted. In that week alone, I have heard so many people tell me how excited they are to get a copy in their hands or on their tablets. I've read many comments on social media from people I know and from people I have never met show a ton of interest and support for this story.
It didn't really hit me that I was really going to do this until last night, my roommate, character artist, and best friend, Kelsey Rushing and I were sitting at the dinner table talking about how far we've both come since we've met. I've gone from being a turtle in its shell, afraid to pop its head out, to now a soon-to-be published author. In high school, I wrote Harry Potter fanfiction and just five years ago, I would have never seen myself doing this. But here I am and I'm truly amazed at all of the support and interest I have received from family, friends, and strangers. And I want to tell you all how thankful I am for it. I would have wrote this book even if I knew I would never sell a single copy, but it's awesome being able to share this journey and experience with others. So thank you. T. Russell Parker
